Welcome to Size Chart Studio. This guide leads you through the tasks you need to complete to get up and running quickly.

Adding clear, accurate size charts to your products helps customers shop with confidence by making it easier to find the right fit before they buy. Size charts reduce uncertainty, answer common sizing questions, and can help lower return rates caused by incorrect sizing. With Size Chart Studio, you can create and display professional, easy-to-read size charts across your store, ensuring shoppers have the information they need at the moment they make a purchase decision.

Install Size Chart Studio

You can install Size Chart Studio from the Shopify App Store.

To install Size Chart Studio:

1. Log in to the Shopify App Store.
2. Go to the Size Chart Studio app listing page.
3. On the app listing page, click Install.
4. In your Shopify admin, to authorize the use of the app, click Install app.

After the app is installed, you can view and use it from the Apps page in your Shopify admin.

Follow the setup guide

When you first open Size Chart Studio, you'll be greeted with a short setup guide that you can follow to show size charts on your online store.

The guide covers important concepts and walks you through these steps:

• Add the block to your theme — Use Shopify's theme editor to choose where size charts appear on your online store.

You can complete the setup right away, or skip it and come back to it later. Full instructions for each step are included in this article whenever you're ready.

Add the block to your theme

The Size Charts app block lets you add size charts exactly where you want to show them on your online store.

The app block can be added as a block in a template section, and as a section in a template.

You can add, remove, reposition, and customize the app block through the theme editor.

To add the app block to your theme:

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.

2. Find the theme that you want to edit, and then click Customize.

3. Navigate to the page and section where you want to add the app block.

4. On the sidebar, click + Add block.

5. From the drop-down menu, in the Apps section, select the Size Charts app block.

6. Optional

   Move the block to another location by clicking and dragging the ⋮⋮ icon.

7. Optional

   View and customize the settings for the app block by clicking the block name.

8. Click Save.

Create a size chart

In Size Chart Studio, a size chart can contain multiple content sections, including tables, images, videos, and rich text. This allows you to create anything from a simple measurement chart to a detailed sizing guide for your products.

To create a size chart:

1. From the Size Chart Studio app, go to Size charts.
2. Click Create size chart.
3. Enter a title for the chart. The title is for your reference only, it does not appear on your online store.
4. Click Add section.

5. Select the type of section to add, then enter the section details.

   At any time, click the section's View icon to preview the section, or click the section's Edit icon to edit the section's content and settings.

6. Optional

   Under Applies to, select Some products to show the size chart for existing and future products that match the conditions you set.

   Defining conditions for a size chart automatically displays the chart on relevant product pages without manual management, saving time as your catalog grows.

   You can add conditions to apply a size chart to products based on product collections, tags, types, and/or vendors.

7. Optional

   Click Preview to see how the size chart will look on your online store.

   Note that the size chart on your online store may look different due to theme styling. Check the size chart on your live site to see exactly how it looks to customers.

8. Click Save.
