Use Liquid code in a ProTab

The Tabs: ProTab Liquid app block allows Liquid code to be used in a ProTab.

To use Liquid code in a ProTab:

From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
Click Customize for the theme that you want to edit.
From the dropdown menu, select a product template.
Click + Add block.
Under Apps, click the Tabs: ProTab Liquid block.
In the ProTab title field, enter the exact title of the ProTab that you want to show the Liquid code in.
In the Liquid area, enter the Liquid and HTML code.
Optional
Under Place Liquid, select Above existing ProTab content to show the Liquid and HTML above any content that is already in the ProTab.
Click Save.

The Liquid code and HTML will only show in the ProTab with the title that matches the title entered into the ProTab title field.

If a ProTab can not be found, the Liquid and HTML will not show anywhere on the page.

Vintage themes

The Tabs: ProTab Liquid app block is not compatible with vintage themes.

To use Liquid code in ProTab with a vintage theme:

Use the theme settings to add the Liquid code to the product page.

If your theme does not have the ability to add Liquid code to the product page, add the code directly to the theme's product page template file instead.

The process for adding the code to the product page is not related to the tabs in any way, so if you're not sure how to add Liquid to the product page or to the product page template file, please contact your theme developer.
After you have added the Liquid and HTML code to the product page and it's displaying the content that you want, move the content into a tab.
